I have a confession to make: I don’t actually know if this photo is any good. I know that I would’ve binned it few years ago because it’s too heavily backlit and some of the people are too out of focus – and that’s assuming I even attempted such a shot. As it happens, I was trying to push the limits of a new camera.
It is indeed heavily backlit, yet you can still see the joy in their faces. People are indeed obscured and out of focus, but not the ones who matter. It somehow looks fun, spontaneous, full of energy; and I can’t stop looking at it.
The bride and groom love it – you’d think that should be sufficient. Maybe I’m just not used to the style? What do you think?
Sometimes, we may think that the shots we took aren’t any good, but someone else love it…
