Day 144: The last of Autumn

Day 144: The last of Autumn

Thursday, May 24, 2018

I’ve been bedridden for the past two days, thanks in no part to some kind of virus that set my throat and lungs on fire. Dinners, classes, get-togethers had to be cancelled. I seem to have let a bunch of people down. I think I’m past the worst of it, but I’ve missed my last chance to photograph the Autumn colours at Breenhold Gardens, too.

This shot in my back yard, where I (idiotically) believe I can recharge under the sun like Superman, is all I’m likely to get. I suppose I’ve got the recently opened Vivid Festival to look forward to…

About today’s photo: 85/1.4 at ISO64. I love this lens so much.

Breenhold Gardens in healthier days; 25x 85/1.4 at ISO100, shot and stitched into a panorama using the Brenizer method
