If you try to get some distance to capture the grandeur of the Frank Gehry-designed UTS Business School, you’ll be stopped by surrounding buildings, trees, and a bridge with a 30-foot drop.
If you get in close with a wide-angle, its curves are exaggerated, and its breadth and subtlety are lost.
On an overcast day, the reflections in the windows are overblown. On a sunny day, the shadows are always overly dramatic.
And there is always someone looking at me from the other side of the window, wondering why I’m photographing them eating lunch.
