There are days when I can find time to train, but I have nowhere to train. Other days, I have somewhere to train but no one to train with. And that’s on days when my ankles don’t feel like they’re about to collapse on themselves.
I’ve seen other people quit for considerably less.
One of them once asked me how I do it; how I keep going despite all the obstacles that life throws in the way.
“I just want it more than you.”
I had an hour and 45 minutes to kill and a set of goals in my Wing Chun that, with or without a teacher or training partners, I can still work towards. Better that than staring at my phone all morning.
