Like every other camera I’ve ever used, the auto-focus on the Nikon D850, by default, goes straight for some part of my glasses. If it’s not the arms (as it is in this case), it’s the glass itself. Either way, it’s either a few centimetres too far back or too far forward.
To be honest, I’ve never had a need for “eye focus” when shooting anything other than myself. Still, for such an expensive camera, it wouldn’t have killed them to include that little extra bit of software.
