Day 321: Imbeciles

Day 321: Imbeciles

Friday, November 17, 2017

I can make a 175-degree field of view fit into a television screen. I have 12 ways of making irregularly-shaped objects fit on a 16:9 screen, a 4:3 screen, and every other odd aspect ratio you can throw at me.

But I can’t stop a tech from embedding my 16:9 video into a 4:3 PowerPoint document and running said document on a 16:9 screen. I can’t stop a tech from blaming it on the creator of the PowerPoint document. I can’t stop the creator of the PowerPoint document from blaming it on the tech for not checking. I can’t stop them bickering into the night after everyone’s gone home.

I can stop caring, though. I’ve been doing a lot of that, recently.
