Day 105: Broken

The courier company took a week to deliver a new part for my projector (the previous one only lasted 90 hours) that, by rights, should’ve gotten here in a day. Actually, they didn’t even deliver it: after what I can only describe as an amateurish comedy of errors, my wife had to make a special trip to their depot during the day to pick it up.

The crazy thing is, the company I bought this from isn’t even ten minutes’ drive from my house.

Call me old-fashioned, but I just don’t see the appeal of online shopping.


About today’s photo: In this photo, I’m about to test this replacement part with the expectation that I’ll have to part with more money because, well, it’s been that kind of month. But it’s now ten minutes later and, so far, it is proving me wrong. Woo.
