There’s something humbling about being asked by your own children to teach them how to take photos. They don’t mean the basic photos you get from an automatic point-and-shoot that get uploaded to the internet; they want to know how to create the short depth-of-field effects, how to compose and crop, how to adjust levels, how to get the photo on to the computer, print it out, and hang it on the wall in a picture frame…
They’ve already got their own cameras and my old MacBook Pro to play with… I guess it’s time to invest in a little printer.
