I love shooting at the 35mm length quite a lot. The shorter distances, the 3D effect, and the more forgiving depth-of-field are all major plusses.
On the other hand, I’m not a big fan of the bokeh on short depth-of-field photos; and I’ve come to really, really dislike the way it distorts people’s faces. It’s only slight, but now that I’ve seen it I just can’t unsee it.
And it grates at me. Every. Single. Time.
So today’s photo is taken with the 50mm.
Boy I’ve missed this lens.
