  1. Your shots (and commentary) are consistently well done, entertaining, and with nice variation yet always connected as a series, so it’s very interesting to follow. Nothing ever seems repetitive…. Kudos…. So I am wondering how you manage these shots. Do you always setup a tripod and self-time them? Do you do various takes and settle on one, or do you generally nail it with one shot? Cheers.

    • Thanks for the kind words. I try to use a tripod whenever I can, but it’s not always practical.

      My process has always been to ask whether I can make a picture at any given moment with the camera/lens I’m carrying. Today’s photo was taken with just one attempt, but further attempts are usually to adjust posing or something I missed in composition or styling.
