I’d like a government that can be socially responsible without trying to incite some kind of revolution.
I’d like a commercially astute government that remembers companies aren’t actually people (even though they’re legally recognised as such).
They’ll never admit it, but our elected officials can’t please everyone. And I’m fine with that.
The simple response is to say I won’t vote for anyone – but apparently that’s illegal in Australia, not to mention, I’m told, I’d be wasting my vote.
But if my vote is worth so much, why am I being asked to just give it away to the lesser of the evils before me?
Revolution it is, then.
