There is a huge promenade behind the ABC in Sydney that’s at least a dozen cars wide and several hundred metres long… and it leads absolutely nowhere. One end is a ruin of a brick wall, the other end is literally the middle of nowhere. The only people who use it are ABC employees who don’t want to enter the premises through the front door. Apart from that, it’s like a beautiful community space that nobody asked for.
Well, it’s not even that beautiful.
