Day 348: The Fourth Annual Turducken Night

Saturday, 14 December 2013

16 adults. 12 children. One chicken, wrapped in a duck, wrapped in a turkey, stuffed, draped with bacon, and roasted for three and a half hours. Salt-crusted ham marinaded in Coca Cola. Three varieties of salads. Pasta. Jello. A foot-high red velvet cake covered in cream cheese icing. A cubby house out the back. Lightsabers in the dark.

I sometimes wonder what our Christmas parties would be like as a guest.
