Life in the corporate world feels a little like a Joseph Kosinski film: spartan, symmetrical and spacious. There’s a reassuring sense of egalitarianism, where progress is made through advocacy within a meritocracy. Everyone speaks different languages, but nobody cares. At some level, I imagine this is what it’s like being in the United Nations.
And it’s not all-consuming. That’s one thing I don’t miss about the media.
