Day 210: I see through you

I recently read about a new meme going around about “two sentence horror stories”. As a writer, this really captured my imagination: a lot of the examples I’ve read have been genuinely spine-tingling – and I’d like to think I’m a guy who doesn’t scare too easily. One of my favourites is by someone going by the name of justAnotherMuffledVo, and it goes something like this:

I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, “Daddy check for monsters under my bed.” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy there’s somebody on my bed.”

Anyway, I’m just trying to capture a little creepiness in this photo. I’m not sure I’ve succeeded.
